How does Lux Auction work?

Lux Auction offers three ways to buy and sell: fixed-price marketplace listings, timed auctions with live bidding, and concierge requests where buyers describe what they are looking for and sellers submit private proposals.

How do I create an account?

Click Sign Up in the top navigation, enter your name, email, and phone number, then verify your email address. Once verified, you can browse, bid, and buy immediately.

How does bidding work?

Navigate to any live auction and place a bid above the current price or minimum increment. Bids are binding. If the auction has anti-sniping enabled, a bid placed in the final minutes may automatically extend the auction to give other bidders a fair chance.

What is escrow and how does it protect me?

When you complete a purchase, payment is held securely in escrow until you confirm receipt and satisfaction. This protects buyers from non-delivery and sellers from non-payment. Learn more on our Buyer Protection page.

How do I start selling?

From your account dashboard, navigate to the seller section to create your first listing. You can list items at a fixed price, start a timed auction, or respond to concierge requests from buyers. Verified sellers receive additional trust badges.

What does "Verified Seller" mean?

Verified sellers have passed our identity and business checks, which may include bourse membership verification. See our Verified Sellers page for details.

What happens if there is a dispute?

We encourage buyers and sellers to communicate directly to resolve issues. If that is not possible, you can open a dispute through your order page. Our team reviews evidence from both sides and works toward a fair resolution.
